Heights Rescue is a 2 day nationally accredited course delivered at our state of the art training facility. Working from heights is a requirement for a number of industries. Whether you are an employee in the gas sector or an assistant in an agribusiness, the chances are you will at some stage undertake work from a height.
However, falls are a major hazard that can lead to serious injury and even death. Fall hazards are found in a number industries and includes undertakings such as working on a roof to accessing a silo. Even ground level work can include fall hazards, with holes, trenches and pits exposing workers to danger.
As such, workers need to have the right skills and experience to ensure that safety measures are not only in place but are also followed. At Harness, we understand that the risk of a fall is a serious concern.
In response, our heights rescue course focuses on transferring the skillset needed for individuals to conduct rescue operations if the need arises.

Alongside our deeply experienced and passionate trainers, Harness has cutting edge technology that can replicate the conditions encountered when rescuing personnel from a height. With major simulators in both Toowoomba and Brisbane, we have both the technology and the experience to ensure that participants leave our course with all they require.
This nationally accredited Heights Rescue Training Course is designed for personnel whom may be required to perform one on one – top down rappel rescues from towers, cranes, rigs or similar platforms.
This training course develops the skills of personnel to complete a complex rope rescue on their own using rope rescue equipment and tower climbing equipment. This training provides personnel with training to combat various types of onsite emergencies. Following the training course, the emergency response team shall be capable of responding and controlling various rope rescue on-site emergencies.

The mode of delivery for this course is face to face in a classroom environment as well as significant practical elements outside of the classroom.
