International Well Control Forum (IWCF)

The International Well Control Forum (IWCF) is the only independent body focused on oil and gas well control training and accreditation.

We set training standards through a global network of branches and are committed to delivering a permanent step change in process safety and operations throughout the life-cycle of the well.

Through collaboration with industry, we are helping to increase competency and change behavior.

International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC)

Since 1940, the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) has exclusively represented the worldwide oil and gas drilling industry. Membership is open to any company involved in oil and gas exploration, drilling or production, well servicing, oilfield manufacturing or other rig-site services.

Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA)

As the national regulator for the vocational education and training (VET) sector, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) seeks to make sure that the sector’s quality is maintained through the effective regulation.

Australia is fortunate to have a world-leading vocational education and training system. This crucial sector provides training in the skills Australians need for employment, and injects billions of dollars of export income into the economy each year.

ASQA makes sure that the quality and reputation of Australia’s VET system is maintained through effective national regulation.

National Training Council PNG  (NTC)

 The National Council is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament in 1991. (Legislation Reference No. 12 of 1991. Certified on the 3 July 1991). The National Training Council is a legitimate authority empowered by its own act to monitor the implementation of the National Training Policy (1989).

The NTC’s main task is to ensure that training is conducted in all sectors of industry. Part of its brief is to develop and promote high standards of training in Papua New Guinea, and to co-ordinate and distribute, among the private and public sectors, information and opportunities available in respect of training.
